Lesson enquiries — UK
Send a lesson enquiry
Use the form on this page to tell us what you'd like to learn and when you're usually free. Every enquiry is read by the tutor who'll be teaching you, and we reply with a suggested lesson format and the next available slot.
We don't publish lesson prices on the site, so this conversation is how you get the practical details. There's no account to create and no payment information needed to enquire.
What happens next
- We read your enquiry and reply with a suggested format and available times.
- Ask a question or request a call back at a time that suits you.
- Nothing is booked until you've seen the options and agreed to one.
What to include in your enquiry
Four things help most: what you want to play, your experience level, whether you'd prefer face-to-face or live online lessons, and roughly when you're available during the week. That's enough for a sensible recommendation.
If you're not sure about any of it, say so. "Complete beginner, no idea where to start" is a perfectly useful enquiry, and one we get often.
Helpful to mention
- What you want to play
- Your experience level
- Face-to-face or live online
- Days and times that broadly work
Choosing a lesson format
Face-to-face lessons suit learners with a predictable week and a short journey to the studio. Live online lessons suit irregular schedules, long commutes, or areas with limited local teaching. Both are one-to-one and run for 30 or 60 minutes.
If you're undecided, say that on the form and we'll suggest the format we'd recommend for your goals. You can switch later without losing your place in the material.
Availability and scheduling
We keep a limited number of regular slots so that scheduling stays stable for existing learners. Tell us the days and times that broadly work and we'll reply with what's currently open, rather than asking you to fit around a fixed list.
If your week changes often, mention that too. Fortnightly lessons or a flexible arrangement sometimes suits better than a fixed weekly slot.
No prices on the site — send the form and we'll reply with the practical details for the format you're interested in.
What happens after you send it
We read the enquiry
Your message is read by the tutor who'll be teaching you, not a general inbox or automated reply.
We reply with options
You get a suggested format and available times. If you have questions first, we answer them and you decide from there.
You confirm the slot
If you want to proceed, we confirm the slot. There's no commitment attached to the enquiry itself, and nothing is booked until you've agreed to one.
Response times
Enquiries are usually answered within one working day, and often the same day. If you haven't heard back within two working days, send the form again or call the number in our reply. Weekends can be slower, particularly around school holidays, so a Friday evening enquiry may be answered on Monday.
Studio location and contact details
The studio teaches in person locally and runs live online lessons for learners elsewhere in the UK. Full address details and a direct phone number are included in the reply to your enquiry, so you have them in writing before your first session.
If you'd prefer to speak before filling anything in, note that on the form and include a convenient time to call.

Online lesson setup
If you're enquiring about live online lessons, it helps to know your setup. A laptop or tablet on a stand, a tuner, and a stable connection are enough to start. A phone works but gives the tutor a narrower view of your hands.
Mention any equipment you already have, or anything you're considering buying. We'll tell you honestly whether it's worth the money for what you want to play.
Before your first session
Have your guitar in tune and ready. Bring a notebook or use your phone to note down what to practise. If you've bought strings or a capo, bring them along so we can fit or demonstrate them.
Arrive a few minutes early if you're coming in person. For online sessions, join a couple of minutes ahead so sound and camera are sorted before the lesson time starts.
You'll be asked about
- Your laptop or tablet setup
- Whether you have a tuner
- Any gear you're considering buying
Before you send — common questions
How long until I get a reply?
Usually within one working day, and often the same day. Weekend enquiries may be answered on the next working day.
Do I need to give my phone number?
It helps, but it isn't required. If you'd rather be contacted by email only, say so on the form and we'll reply that way.
Will you send marketing emails after I enquire?
No. Your details are used to answer your enquiry and arrange lessons. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly how the information is handled.
Can I ask about prices without booking?
Yes. Send a lesson enquiry with the format you're interested in and we'll reply with the details for that option. There's no obligation to book afterwards.
What if I'm not sure what I want to learn yet?
Say so on the form. Beginners often arrive without a fixed goal, and the first reply can include suggestions on where to start and what the first few lessons would cover.
Still have a question that isn't covered here? Add it to the form's message field or use the details below — you'll hear back from the tutor directly, usually within one working day.
Ready to send your lesson enquiry?
Fill in the form above with your goals, preferred format, and availability. You can also ask a question, request a call back, or book an initial session from the same form — whichever suits you. You'll hear back from the tutor who'd be teaching you, usually within one working day.
